Bright indirect light:
Anthurium clarinervium needs bright light to maintain its velvety leaves and well-defined white veins. Place it in a bright location, but always out of direct sunlight, as this could easily scorch its delicate foliage.

Regular and controlled irrigation:
Water when the top 2–3 cm of the substrate are dry. In warm weather, it usually needs watering every 5–7 days, reducing this in winter. It is important to keep the substrate slightly moist, but never waterlogged, to avoid damaging the roots.

High humidity:
As a tropical plant, it thrives in environments with humidity between 60–80%. You can increase the humidity with a humidifier, by placing it near other plants, or by lightly misting it. Stable humidity promotes larger, smoother leaves with those spectacular veins.

It requires a well-aerated and very well-draining substrate. A mix for aroids with pine bark, coconut fiber, and perlite is ideal. Its thick roots need space and air to develop properly. With proper care, each new leaf will be larger and more distinct than the previous one.
