Care:
Bright indirect light:
Variegated pothos needs plenty of light to maintain its well-defined white or cream markings. Insufficient light will reduce the variegation and make the leaves appear greener. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch its delicate leaves.
Moderate watering:
Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil are dry. Watering every 7–10 days is usually sufficient during warm weather, and slightly less frequently in winter. It is a hardy and rewarding plant, but sensitive to overwatering: it prefers a slight drying period between waterings.
Normal or slightly high humidity:
It tolerates typical household humidity well, although it appreciates slightly more humid environments. You can mist it occasionally if the weather is very dry, but it's not essential for its growth.
It prefers a loose, well-draining substrate, ideal for green plants. It's a natural climber: you can let it cascade down or train it with a support to encourage larger, more showy leaves. With good light, its variegation will remain vibrant and its growth will be rapid.
